FREE: CAIA Webinar: The Myths, The Reality, and The Opportunities in Machine Learning
Thursday, May 23, 2019, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

There has been a lot of discussion about the invasion of machine learning and artificial intelligence into the investment process, the ultimate generation of alpha and a more targeted model around the distribution of investment products and services. While the amount of data (structured and unstructured) has grown exponentially in the recent periods, the effective use of it is still nascent in many organizations. The pace of inquiry and adoption however continues to accelerate and the future investment team will likely have more data scientist working side-be-side with the financial analyst. What does this mean for our industry, our investment processes and our end investors? Please join our webinar as we try to bring some common sense to this rapidly emerging topic.

Panelists: William Kelly, CAIA Association; Mehrzad Mahdavi, PhD, Financial Data Professional Institute; George Mussalli, Panagora; and Joseph Simonian, PhD, Natixis Investment.

TradersEXPO Chicago
July 21-23, 2019
Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, South Building, 2233 S. Dr. MartinLuther King Jr. Dr., Chicago, IL

The Ultimate Educational Event for Active Traders.

For years TradersEXPO has sought to educate beginning and experienced traders about the best new and established trading strategies and techniques. This year’s TradersEXPO Chicago will continue that tradition and provide much more. We are going back to our roots and tapping the markets and exchanges that launched the derivatives revolution that led to the creation of so many products we trade today.

TradersEXPO is a place where new ideas are launched and where attendees can separate themselves from the crowd. The world of trading – along with the world in general – is filled with greater risk and greater potential rewards. So, it is appropriate that we are here in Chicago, the center of risk management and the home of innovative markets.
