This talk will discuss recent advances in technology which may inform the question of intent not only with regards to spoofing, but more broadly in circumstances where the court may be disposed to draw inferences from code, as these technologies continue to advance and become more widely adopted. Related practical considerations with respect to the gathering and review of technical evidence where code and other artifacts are available will also be discussed.

FREE: Investment Network: Roundtable Chat with Andrew Busch: Lessons Learned from Working at the CFTC

The guest speaker will be Andrew Busch the former Chief Market Intelligence Officer (CMIO) of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Hosted by Nicole Kalajian, Stradley Ronon.

Prior to taking the CMIO role at the CFTC, Andrew Busch had analyzed, written and criticized the U.S. government, but until he worked in it, he didn’t fully understand it. This program will cover the top three lessons learned while working in the U.S. government and important tips for anyone entering government for the first time.
